We need our places to work for the people of NSW. We need housing and we need it fast. Through the insights we've gained from the planning community, we've identified crucial barriers hindering urban development, particularly the supply of housing.

Astrolabe Group launched the Pulse of Planning survey in March 2023 to capture an independent snapshot of the sentiment of the sector. Learn more about our 2023 results here. 

We launched the 2024 pulse check in March this year to build our longitudinal understanding of the planning challenges and opportunities in NSW.

We are bolstering this year's pulse check with a series of selective roundtables in June to develop a robust advocacy platform.  Our goal is to identify key challenges and opportunities within NSW's planning landscape, ensuring our state leads in planning and housing delivery.
